This commission enquiry came from a football museum in the UK, asking for a small piece to exhibit in their retail sector. I was interested in displaying some of my work there. A stand popular in the local area, from the past, was suggested. The old 'kippax Stand' from Manchester City’s 'Maine Road' stadium was the prime candidate. The Year 1982 was chosen for some the features and signage the building had at that time.
